For those who are passionate about cooking and wish to learn the secrets of the Italian kitchen, In Tavola group lessons provide participants with the opportunity to learn how to prepare typical Italian and Tuscan dishes under the guidance of an expert chef.
During the lesson, participants will be able to apply the new techniques they have learned when preparing their own dishes, with a sampling of the meal following the cooking lesson.

Subcategories

Participants working in a fully equipped kitchen, and under the guidance of an expert Chef, will learn how to prepare a typical 4-course Italian dinner, including an appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert. This course is followed by a dinner of the prepared dishes in our wine cellar. The session duration is approximately 3.5 hours. Lessons can be held in English, Spanish, and Italian, and the minimum age requirements of all participants is 7 years old. This course allows participants the opportunity to work with the various types of ingredients necessary for making fresh pasta, is aimed for those who wish to discover the techniques and secrets behind the ancient Italian tradition of homemade pasta making. Participants will learn directly from the Chef, the techniques used in working with pasta, including using the polling pin and machine. Altogether, participants will learn to prepare fresh egg pasta and freshwater pasta, along with three different sauces and a typical Italian dessert. The course is ended with a lunch of the prepared dishes in our wine cellar, the whole session lasts approximately 3 hours. The lesson can be held in English, Spanish, and Italian, and the minimum age requirement is 7 years old. Classes are held every Wednesday and Saturday from March to October at 11:30am. Under the guidance of an expert chef, this course reveals to participants the principals and practices behind the Italian tradition of wood-fire Pizza and artisanal Gelato and sorbet. This class is scheduled every Tuesday from March to October at 04:30pm. Lessons can be held in English, Spanish, and Italian. Altogether, participants will learn to prepare a pizza and two gelato/sorbet flavors, after the lesson, you will have a dinner in our wine cellar with the dishes prepared, the whole session lasts approximately 3 hours. The lesson of Homemade Gelato is an opportunity to really understand how the authentic recipe of True Italian Gelato is built. With the assistance of the Maestro Gelataio participants can learn how to prepare 2 flavors, a Ice Cream with Milk Base and a Water Based Fruit Sorbet Once completed this lesson you can enjoy the ice cream prepared by you. This lesson lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes c.a. This class is scheduled every Thursday and Saturday from March to October at 10:00am. Lessons are in English, Spanish and Italian.
